\misc\datagrab setup.exe Data Grabber 2.0 HOW TO INSTALL -------------- Click on the icon to install to the hard drive. HOW TO RUN ---------- Make sure you are first connected to the internet. Click on Start | Programs | DATAGRAB . Data Grabber will start by placing an icon in the tray. Left or right click the icon to activate Data Grabber. (Right clicking also pops up a menu.) Select a database name from the small window. Enter your search string in the text box. Click GO. Your default browser will activate with the search results. TIPS ------------ Drag a shortcut into the c:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder to have Data Grabber load each time the computer is turned on. -OR- Drag a shortcut to the desktop for easy loading of Data Grabber. KNOWN ISSUES ------------ Data Grabber 1.x link file (Main.txt) is incompatible with Data Grabber 2.0. If you are one of the very few who click GO and nothing happens, then you simply need to edit a File Type called URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol and reset it to point to your default browser. Follow these directions: 1.Close any Web Browsers that may be running. 2.Open Start/Settings/Control Panel/View/Options/File Types. 3.Select URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol, and click the Edit button.
